My friend Jessica tagged me for this 6 habits and facts thing.
1. HABIT: Fixating and obsessing. Calling this a 'habit' is a nice way of referring to my mental problems... Anyways, I just sort of get something stuck in my head, it usually lasts for anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of years. For example, my current fixation is on winning a prize of some sort. Doesn't matter what, although a cash prize would be preferable. Let me know if you have any leads.
2. FACT: You know how when people talk about desserts and they say stuff like "wow, this is rich!" or "I can't eat anymore, it's just too sweet!". Well, whatever they have in their heads that triggers this sort of response, I don't have that. I would eat entire cheesecakes and dozens of cookies at a time if it was socially acceptable to do so. Or if I wanted to weigh 600 lbs.
3. FACT: Animals dressed as humans sort of infuriate me. And I don't know if you guys have seen this, but they make strollers for dogs now. Just to let you know, if I ever see any of you with one, I'm not going to act like it's cute. I'll tell you it's stupid.
4.FACT: I am a car person. I love cars. I used to have subscription to Motor Trend. Come to think of it, maybe I should get it renewed for Christmas!
5. HABIT: Prematurely cleaning up dinner dishes. This is probably J's biggest complaint about me. I'll take the food off of the table before he's done. And just the other day, I dumped out his chili when he left the table for some reason, i don't remember what. I assumed he was done. J is pretty much the slowest eater ever, and hmm....as I'm writing this, I'm starting to think that maybe my premature table clearing is really not as much of a problem as J's slow eating is. I mean, who leaves the table mid-meal with plans to come back to their chili in ten minutes?
6.HABIT: Whistling. I incessantly whistle. Good thing I'm pretty much the best whistler ever.
I'm supposed to tag 6 people:
1.Sarah C.
2.Lisa W.
3.Jaime S.
4.Pam B.
5.Julie M.
6.Margo S.

Oh my gosh, I totally love these!! I have to say that Andy is also the slowest eater ever too. I will have eaten my food, cleaned up, put the boys P.J.'s on and he is still slowly eating. I know he does this on purpose, he is such a stinker. I love finding out new fun things about friends. If I ever have a car question, I'll ask you. You are so cool, seriously you are:-)
I am totally with you on the animals dressed as people thing!
I agree, its not you; Jared's slow eating is definately the problem.
This is a cute -MEME!
I enjoyed reading about your quirks - we have similar ones!!!
You are hilarious. I loved the info on you. I am so going to find some sort of contest you can win. That would be awesome.
i fully agree with most of your facts. when people eat one piece of cake, i'm like "whatever." and eat another. and i think jared must be a slow eater. you can't leave the table during dinner. that's abandoning your food and leaving it up for grabs.
Hi Vanessa! Your family is so cute! I love blogs and will be checking often, it's like keeping in touch...isn't it?)
How fun to hear from you again! We miss Ohio! I loved this post- you are hillarious! We all have crazy "quirks" about us - at least I know I do! I hope all is well with you and your little family.
