so, I hooked up my computer today and I am back in business. (you're thinking "hmm. "back in business" must be her referring to getting "back" to naming blog posts after napoleon dynamite quotes". I know it's a problem, I am working on it. get off my back.)
A little background about this house I'm so excited about.
1. It is a piece. (of junk)
2. It was a piece (of junk) filled with junk. It was a house going into foreclosure and the peeps who lived here just decided to leave a 30 foot dumpster worth of junk in the house and yard.
3. This is our 3rd purchase of a piece of junk house. I think this makes it officially "what we do".
4. The key word here is junk.
on a positive note, the does have great potential, and we got an amazing deal, which makes it all much more bearable.
After being "away" from the blog for so long, I developed a bit of a fear of posting again...it felt like some sort of variation on performance anxiety. Its just that it had been so long....whew, glad that's over with, it's good to be back.
oh, and here's bubba with like, a lot of rice crispies stuck to his face. He seems pretty happy about it, too.

So happy you are back into blogging! I have to say that I missed your posts. :-)
I am very excited to see how you fix up your new home. Hope you post pictures.
I give you 6 months and that place will have been completely transformed with a little of your tender loving care!
It is really good to see your back into the blogging world. Don't worry I haven't posted for a while just blog stalked.
I'm so glad to see that you're back and that you guys got a house, even if it is junk--it won't be fore long with you guys in it.
Love the picture of Bubba.
Yay, you're back! I was worried because the same time I found you, you disappeared for a month. You have REALLY cute kids. My husband really wants to find a piece of junk house and fix it up. I think that is fine as long as we get to keep this one while he does it. Good luck with making it home.
Yay for being back in business! And yay for junky houses that require lots of fun fixer-upper projects! The blogging world just wasn't the same in your absence!
Was your house in OHio a "piece" before you moved in? If so, then I have high hopes for your new house because your house in Ohio was beautiful!! Congrats on the house. Miss you in Card club.
