This might be boring. Consider yourself warned.

I have so much to catch up on that I'm going to go ahead and post everything in a very concise mish-mash of a post.
First off, this is the 4th of July. We spent it with J's parents. We went to a little carnival in the town where J's dad taught high-school for 30 years. I got a little taste of what it is going to be like having J be the next "Mr. Neal". Anyways, they had these kid rides that G was big enough to go on. However, she hates to show emotion and kept a poker face on every ride.

Next, we traveled to Atlanta, GA for one of J's oldest and best friend's (Andy's) wedding. This was our table . The other two guys are more of J's childhood friends, Matt and Cory. And, might I mention that my man has never looked so good in pink.
I'm not sure that anyone has ever looked creepier eating a banana.
The guys were super excited that the groom's cake was a "Block O".

The happy couple with the groomsmen. Here is J again with his two oldest and best friends Matt and Andy. I think it is so great that they have been friends for so long. 25 years is a long time to keep a friend. And it is amazing that they have kept so close over the years.

Oh yes, and it was also our 7 year wedding anniversary. Cheers to that!
Another fun part about our trip to Georgia was getting to stay with one of my best friends, Lara. It was so great to see her. We go years without being able to see each other , but then as soon as we get back together it's like no time has passed. I also got to meet her lovely husband Greg. He was so great and is the exact husband I would have picked for her had I been doing the picking. Go easy on us for the picture , it was early in the morning.Next, our epic trek to Colorado. Wow, it was a long trip. Luckily, J's parents drove with us or it would have been near impossible. They saved us. Well, them, and the DVD player. J's brothers also came from Utah to help us move in. After we got everything moved in, we took a little overnight trip up to the mountains to celebrate G's and Grandma Rosemary's birthdays.

G took this picture of Bubba, I love it because it perfectly captures his annoyed face. The Neal boys. Wow, what a sight. Take it all in.

As we walked around town, Bubba found a Rock wall. This normally wouldn't mean much, except for that Bubba lives a very rock-motivated life. He had a love/hate relationship with this wall. He loved that there were all of these big rocks pasted to a wall. He hated that he was unable to remove the rocks from said wall.
J, papaw and the kiddos sitting by a pretty river in Breckenridge.
So far we are in love with Colorado. It is gorgeous. We would love to have visitors if anyone is so inclined!

Fun to see what you are doing. I'm glad you guys made it to Colorado. Cross-country with two little ones is not fun! We made it here to Iowa and then when Max gets a break at the end of this month, we decided that since we are already half way across the country, we're going to drive to see his uncle and aunt who summer at a remote cabin in the Quebec wilderness. We'll see how it goes.

Yay! I'm glad your back into the swing of things what with blogging and all but I'm still a little bitter that you abandoned me. I can't live if living is without you. Come back!

Thanks for cathing us up! I have been watching your blog for some time to see how your new home in Colorado is. I am so happy for you guys. Don't worry, I am sure Alan and I will take a road trip to see you! Check out my blog if you get a chance. I finally have some exciting news on it.

Wow...Sam is looking like a little blondie. I guess he's not the reincarnation of Gracie after all. And why did you guys keep the pink vest from me? I can't believe Jared was wearing a pink vest Saturday and I didn't even know!!!! That is totally unfair! Glad to hear you love Colorado. The next IDRS conferences are in England and Oklahoma, but I'm sure CO will happen one of these days! After all, it is our turn to visit you. :) We loved having you guys here!

Man, even your "boring" posts are hilarious! I love your commentary. I'm impressed that all those guys wore that much pink. I don't think Nathan would do that without a bribe :)

We're TRYING to move there so that we don't have to temporarily visit. So far my job search for Carl is not nearly as productive as I'd hoped.
