Visitors

We were lucky enough to have Alicia and Brady come and visit us from
Kansas for 4 days! We had such a great time with them, we just wish
we could have had longer together!
We started out the weekend by the taking a trip to King's Island
sans children. It is a really fun amusement park with lots of
serious roller coasters. I used to love roller coasters. This
has changed for me, apparently. It used to be that when I
got in a ride and pulled down the lap belt, I'd think things
like "high-speeds, death-defying heights, flimsy
lap belt.... bring it on!" Now, I think things like
"If I die on this ride, my children won't have a mother".
But, the day kept getting better and better as it went,
I only cried after the first 3 roller coasters. I didn't
cry again until after the pirate haunted house, but
that was much later in the day. Oh wait, that's not true.
I cried mid-day after we went on a ride called the
Drop-zone. It was horrible. I don't
want to talk about it.
We did some other fun stuff like decorating
Halloween
cookies and carving pumpkins. We also went on a little
hike. And one night I even made this deliciousness for
dinner. We had so much fun with them here...but it
did come with a price...
S and G cried for 2 days straight
after they left. A lot of crying happened related to their
visit. But it was not at all a reflection on how we
felt about them being here....we really really really loved
having them here! I promise!

awesome slide show! You need to take a few more pics, though. I want to see those supercool pumpkins all lit up! :) We had such the bestest-greatest-superfantasticest time eva. And you were very brave on the rollarcoasters, good job.

Give G & S big kisses from me, trust me they weren't the only guys upset :( I miss you guys so much.

That chicken dish does look delicious. I'm on the 12 step program to meal planning. Will you be my personal meal planning trainer??
