Is that a dead fish on the sink top, you ask? Why yes, yes it is.
Is that navy blue office carpet on the floor, you ask? Why yes, yes it is.
Who puts CARPET in a bathroom? Super gross- that's the first thing I did after we got the keys to the house, was drive over and rip up that sick carpet. There was no way that I was going to be walking around on someone's "bathroom carpet", if you know what I mean, and I think you do.
Yay, bathroom remodel!:

Wow!! I remember when you wanted to buy that shower curtain. It looks great in the room. Did you do the tile yourself? That's something I've never tackled. It looks great.
I'm loving all of the pictures of your renovation. We are tiling the master bath this weekend, but I think you just gave me an idea for the main bath floor. LOVE that tile! Your house looks awesome.
carpet in a bathroom. honestly.
**we are trying to buy a house and one of the bathrooms has carpet in it. i made bryan agree that i wouldn't even put in an offer on the house until he promised that bathroom would be remodeled the second we bought it.
Katie, yes, we did do the tile ourselves. (well, when I say "We" I mean, I picked it out, Jared installed it.) :)
You guys are so good at this!
That looks awesome. I can't believe there was carpet.
I love your remodels! They turned out perfect. I love your frames idea! I might have to copy, but that is the sincerest form of flattery...right? I love the counter tops and the tiles in the bathroom. Good work!
Oh, Alisa, if you are thinking of doing some kind of small tiles for your bathroom floor, I got these at home depot.(daltile is the brand name). I can't remember the exact price, but they were under $3/square foot, i'm thinking $2.79? which is so great compared to small tiles i found anywhere else, they were all from $8-20/s.f.!
I remember you telling me about the carpet and the honeycomb tiles. It looks spectacular! Did the dead fish actually come with the house?
yes, we got the dead fish for free with the house!
